"We stopped one night in Guatapé to enjoy the view from the famous rock and it was well worth it. Galleria is located 3km or a 6min-ish busride from the actual town but right at the foot of the rock. The view from the hostel is amazing and the owner was young, chill and friendly. Immediate access to two decent roadside restaurants with affordable local dishes. "Lovely garden environment. Very well kept, clean and friendly staff. Beds were very hard, but that’s typical for Colombia. Lots of amenities like ping pong, sauna, hot tub. We had a wonderful stay. "

"Very clean. There’s people cleaning all the time. The kitchen is basic but has a toaster oven and a gas stovetop. I think you can drink the water from the tap I’ve been doing that. The private room was nice it has a big fan and a tv with cable channels mostly in spanish. The staff don’t speak much English but they are really friendly.
