"The hotel is conveniently situated near the ferry dock. It has a good restaurant specialising in the local lobsters and good bar. It is right on top of a nice beach and loungers are available. The staff are friendly and efficient. All in all a great place for a few nights stay."

Part of this appeal is due to the friendly interactions with Ms Icis Malone, the proprietress, and her son. "Do not book this hotel! We intended to stay at this hotel Sept 4-6, and Hurricane Irma made landfall on the 4th/5th. We had to cancel our plans to avoid getting trapped in a category 5 hurricane on an island that was in its direct path. This hotel declined multiple times to issue a refund, before and after the storm.
