"2-3 km from town, like being at an eco-lodge. Heliconias and other tropical plants and trees everywhere. Pool & area challenging to keep clear of falling leaves, etc. restaurant under Reno (stayed Sept 20-22) but room/pool service available. Food good, reasonably priced. Please change to paper or no straws. No TVs but that’s a plus for me. "

"Excellent location, a very short walk from the bus station in an area of good hotels and restaurants. Plenty of taxis to take you to the ruins at a reasonable (negotiated) cost. The restaurant in the hotel was average at best, but there are a number of other options nearby on the street. The hotel swimming pool was kept spotless. Come supplied with local cash, though, as ATM's are not a common as you might wish."

"It was a beautiful small hotel with little cabañas. Ours was the on the top floor of a little four plex unit with two suites on the bottom and two on the top. The pools were gorgeous right in the ocean and perfectly clean. The food I. The restaurant was mediocre and high priced but the hotel and the service were outstanding. "
