"This is a very expensive hotel that does not in any way justify the cost (£250 a room!). The website states there are two restaurants a buffet and a la carte. We telephoned to book dinner in the a la carte ( with sunset views of the sea by the pool as in the photographs) and were told the restaurants were closed. The only option available was a set menu . Our table overlooked the concrete drive and the entire area smelt of sewerage. Dinner was very poor. I did manage my grilled aubergine...

"Super unique hotel, tucked into a very active mountain town. The roads all around are tiny and winding mountain village size. Hard to find and hard to drive/park, but that really adds to the experience of this unique and wonderful location. Inside the hotel is very modern, well built, clean. Staff very helpful, pulled the car out onto the street for us. Certainly would have helped us find and park if we had called ahead. "

"Extremely clean room with a beautiful balcony. Breakfast was superb. George went out of his way to be helpful nothing was too much trouble for him."

"Beatifully situated overlooking the lake. Lively and friendly but with lots of space for calm and quiet. Very good menus in formal and informal settings. A happy place with no ostentation."
