"Had a lovely day out at the nearby zoo and this hotel was very convenient to be able to stay close by and enjoy a mini break. The staff and service was brilliant and really friendly. The hotel is a little tired in places but the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Disappointed that the swimming pool was closed during our stay but it didn't affect our overall experience. Food in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was also really good with lots to choose from. Would recommend "

"Well positioned hotel, as a 15 min walk to gunwarf quays. Pool and steam an added bonus. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. The hotel kindly gave us a permit to park the car on the road as the car park was full at times. Room clean and comfortable bed. Very warm amd aircon not working. It was late when we returned to the room so I didnt wish to change rooms as offered. Was given a fan quickly. "

"Great breakfast, room was dated and bed old but comfortable, no air con, radiator came on at about 8pm so eventually warmed up well. Water pressure good in the shower. Swimming pool and other facilities at extra cost per head. "
