"Wonderful hotel. The second time I have stayed here. Wonderful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Alice is an absolute star. Great food with generous portions. If you ate a full breakfast you would need to walk ten miles to walk it off. Cannot praise this hotel enough"

"Easy, easy walking distance from the train station and a main, local bus station. Lots of food and shopping all close by. Breakfast buffet was really good. The room was a good size and the beds comfortable. The shower wasn't my favorite as it only had a quarter wall so was too easy to get water everywhere. "

"Really convenient place to stay for events in the city centre. I was impressed by the hotel's efforts to be green including on site energy generation. Safe place to lock our bikes. Excellent breakfast and beautiful decor in the public areas. We didn't get time to view the on site brewery/distillery....maybe next time. Staff were polite but busy. I would stay again."

"This was the highlight of our trip to the highlands. The inn is old and historic, simple but just right. No frills, but you can’t beat the view! Loved the community recorded and led walking tour. The bar and restaurant was warm and the food yummy (and there is no where else to go, fyi). It is well worth the minor detour on the ferry. Would definitely go again. "
