"Great apartment. Very quiet. Well maintained. Very helpful host. Regular cleaning. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk to the beach/town but they do offer a shuttle if you need it. We had a hire car so it wasn’t really a problem. "

"The flats are next to a very busy road with morning and evening heavy traffic and next to three discos with a lot of weekend night actions and noise. The flats are spacy and awere nicely build but meanwhile lack repair and maintenance and thus appear to be rundown."

"We have just returned from two lovely weeks at La Pointe Villas, and would book to stay here again in a heartbeat. We stayed in the 4 bed property which was as pictured, kept clean by the daily maid service in good working order. Any issues are swiftly dealt with and sorted. "This hotel also has long term guests because it is awesome. The owner / manager is always trying extra miles to help every guest, treat them like a family. My late checking in, my transport and my last day checking out has never been so looked after. The value is far beyond what’s been paid for. "Very well stocked apt with 3 bedrooms & 2 bathroom/showers. Linen and towels included. Kitchen has everything you need including a washing machine. Unit has screens on windows and back balcony alowing you to keep windows open while A/C is off. Nice breeze between front and back balconies. There is a beach and supermarket walking distance as well as the very under rated Dodo traffic circle. "Stand beside a Dodo". Main shopping mall is about 3 km, (2 mi), away. Apt faces inward toward pool area...

"Very dirty (toilets not clean, hair on the bathroom floor, traces of toothpaste on the mirrors, floor not mopped). No one was attending the reception desk during business hours, had to call someone to check me in. "

"Property is in a good location, and is a good size apartment with 2 double bedrooms, a kitchen and lounge. There’s also a washing machine and an outdoor verandah where you can hang clothes. There is a beach view which is lovely but unfortunately, this is where it ends. Apartment was not clean. Everything appeared dirty. We washed the towels before using them as we weren’t sure they were clean. Apartment smelt like cooking, and was very stuffy. Only one bowl provided, so tricky with breakfast! "

"The LUX hotel deserves its 5 star status. It has great facilities for both families with & without children and even has an adult only beach area. Main gripe was the fact that the sea is so shallow you can hardly get any depth to swim properly which I felt was a shame. The staff are second to none. Shout out to Sandeep in reception, Neru & Vishal in the buffet restaurant area who were excellent "

"We had a fabulous honeymoon stay at C Mauritius. A beautiful beach location with a lovely room and atmosphere. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful… nothing was too much trouble. The main bar was a highlight of the stay, great drinks and entertainment. The food was fabulous with lots of options. Wok & Roll (al a carte restaurant) in particular was fantastic, the food was outstanding. The hotel went above and beyond for our honeymoon providing us with a discount voucher for a wonderful massage and an additional candlelit dinner! We loved every minute! "

Hotel Riu Palace Mauritius - All Inclusive - Adults Only

"Just the right amount of chill and optional activities. Only just over an hour from the airport. Beautiful sightseeing nearby and watersports. Very attentive staff. Great food and drink selection. Adults only was so worth it but still access to Turquoise hotel if needed. We didn't upgrade our room/view or pay for Elite but it was still lovely. Beach on the doorstep."
