"Family friendly. Lots to keep kids engaged and entertained. The pools in the room were ice cold though. And the water park was crowded due to being open to the public. Good luck finding seating."

"We tried to get a massage, but we were not told you had to check in at another area. We waited long past our time only to find out my husband could not get one because he had skin cancer surgery 2 weeks prior. Nothing was told to us when we made the appointment. After an hour of waiting for them to decide that we couldn't get a massage I had had enough."

"This is a truly family-friendly hotel, and we’ll definitely come back again. We had a wonderful spring break. We were able to relax by the swimming pool and on the beach. The ‘At Sunset’ restaurant was the best—we went there several times. We also really liked ‘Ventana’ and had breakfast there every day. We tried the other restaurants as well, but ‘Azul’ and ‘Casa de Rosa’ weren’t quite to our taste."

"The restaurants were not open at all times and being that were far from town need more food options a dining options so we can enjoy at diff venues. Cost of food was a bit expensive and with kids it adds up so maybe a discounted pizza bar and ice cream bar for kids to eat so available at all hours and easier for parents. Lovely views and staff experiences. "

"Beautiful room, 4 beds was perfect, so much space, beautiful deck with wonderful hot tub. Food was great, great for teenagers. The only disappointment was the beach, specifically looked for an ocean side property and there really wasn't a beach. Very impressed overall."

"This place was such a fun getaway for our 8-day trip! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—especially Jonathan and Boa, who were incredibly kind and always made sure we had everything we needed. The buffet had a great variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. The unlimited drinks were a definite bonus—they could whip up anything you asked for! The entire atmosphere was so friendly and inviting, especially for Canadians. We’ll definitely be back!"

"The white sandy powdery beach was gorgeous. The resort isnt very big but this is truly an advantage. You dont have to walk top far to get to any places but it didnt feel crowded or cramped either. There were always enough chairs. The snack bar by the pool was outstanding. The food was delicious at all the restaurants. The room was honestly basic but being ocean view is really unbeatable. Never had problems with the elevator either. The parties!!! If you like parties, The RIU...
