"Excellent hotel, good location to railway station and city centre. Lots of food and shopping options. Nice modern and clean. High quality breakfast, very nicely presented. Very pleasant and helpful staff. All the amenities you need. Room was a little small. Not much sound proofing and street noise was fairly loud at times."

"The building is very old and smells bad. The room was a smoking room before they made it non-smoking. It smelled. The bathroom was old but clean. The window was sanded glass so it was not possible to check the weather from the room, one had to go outside to check it. The lack of coin laundry is definitely a negative. The stuff is very friend and helpful!"

"Great staff. Even though there was a language barrier, the host did not hesitate to get me settled in, teach me how to put on a yukata and give me sightseeing tips. Bathroom is not air conditioned and can get a bit stuffy. Breakfast is good, not mindblowing but given the overall price, I cannot complain. I would definitely stay here again."

"Was a long up hill walk from station, staff were very freindly but this is a dated property, and god knows why they had the heaters going in the whole place on a fine beautiful day? was so hot and stuffy in dining room for breakfast we ate outside on balcony. Breakfast was nice and lovely free onsen for guests"

"Staff is great. Checked out early from room and left our bags for later retrieval. Upon return staff advised me that I had left my iPad in the room. Thought I’d packed it and I would not have known until arriving in the next city. So grateful not to go through the hassle of retrieval. Thank you housekeeping and front desk staff for such remarkable service."
