"The Hansa is in a great location, close to my favourite bars and restaurants in Swakopund. Although a bit dated the hotel is well maintained, clean and has a charming atmosphere. The staff are all very professional and courteous; it was also a nice bonus to find a room service menu in the room... the calamari was great btw."

"I booked online on Expedia and paid. I arrived expecting to check in. Instead the staff insisted that the hotel had not received payment from the online platform and tried to get me to pay a second time. I refused and showed them the receipt from Expedia. I had to threaten to get the police involved before they relented. Their food and beverage prices are outrageous and the quality is not good. They try to rip you off at every turn.
