"Wyndham has purchased this hotel, but done absolutely NOTHING to improve the quality of the hotel. It is more run down than it ever was before when it was just the Chicago South Loop Hotel (not the Wyndham Chicago Mccormick Hotel). The people who work at the hotel are wonderful. They are professional, kind, helpful, and caring. The general infrastructure is just old and things need to be replaced or updated like carpeting, paint on walls, and fitness center equipment. There’s a Target next door which was nice for my friends and I as there were a few times we needed to stop in and grab things. The motel felt secure and it was clean. We had no complaints at all with our stay. It was so relieving to see how accurate the glowing reviews were! "
