"Mostly good – great location & friendly staff. The ventilation was very bad though – the aircon didn’t stop the room being very stuffy and smelly. If the window was openable (even by 10 or 20cm) that would make it a lot nicer, and probably wouldn’t let anyone fall out. It would also be much nicer if there was a kettle in the room, to save having to go downstairs to get a cup of coffee"

"NB At the moment, there are road works in front of the hotel, so access is by foot only. Complimentary parking at the rear of the hotel was available. The lady in Reception who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. Our room had recently been renovated, as had the sauna, the bed was very comfortable, though the room’s furniture, mottled grey leather sofas, were unexpected and quite un-Scandic. "The room was not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. The toilet had waste in it that was not flushed; there was hair on the shower floor and in the floor of the room; the rug was not vacuumed, as there were nail clippings on it; and the room was dusty, which could be seen on the tables and cups. "
