"Comfy, clean, spacious room with kitchenette, lovely clean bathroom and a balcony. The apartments are located behind the main drag so are nice and quiet. Nobody at reception when we arrived and room not ready so we had to busy ourselves elsewhere for a few hours. Thought we were paying by card on line but seemingly not - ended up paying in cash at the owners request. Overall - room really nice; service not bad but not great."

"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). "Check in was wonderful, Vasiliki was very polite and professional. Finding the parking of the hotel was a tricky one. There were 5 spaces near the entrance - all taken when we arrived, so we parked on the street and got a ticket. The room was spacious and beautiful. Being on the ground floor, there is no balcony, instead a lovely space with table and chairs, and sea view. There is no mosquito net, though and the isolation allows you to hear everything in the hallway and the next room. The...
