"My stay at the Diplomat was lovely. It is an elegant hotel in a beautiful, historic building. The charm of the water across the street and being able to easily walk to the tram or subway near was super convenient. My room was well appointed with nice linens and a comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower too! I ate at the downstairs restaurant twice, both times exactly what I needed with good food and attentive service. "Really enjoyed my stay. Even though the room did not have windows, it didn’t affect the stay at all. Considering my room was in the middle of the corridor, it was lovely and quiet. Location is excellent - close to station and to food places. Breakfast was divine. There was a big flask of coffee at reception (free) but not available all day. Overall, I would stay here again."

"Very convenient to metro. Friendly staff especially the one that welcomes you with a health shot when you arrive for breakfast. I didn’t get her name, positive and friendly brings a smile to your face. Good choice options for breakfast. Facilities clean however the reception area during checkin can be quite busy."
