"I thought i just needed a place to sleep for the night. It turns out what i REALLY needed was a night at the spa. Everything was incredibly quiet and comfortable. Angelina was behind the counter and made everything flow seamlessly. She really went the extra mile to ensure i had a wonderful visit. I truly cannot say enough about this place and the place i found here. I will make it a part of all future travel plans to the area because it was such a positive experience. "The house is just a regular villa without any extra soundproofing so when other guests stumbled in at one o'clock superdrunk everyone hears it. The guests then locked themselves in both bathrooms and started violently puking for everyone to hear. One other guest were sleeping off the whiskey in the living room couch. "Hotel Carlia provided us a comfortable stay for our one night in Uddevalla. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains conveniently shielded us from any of the light during midsummer. The room was clean, though a bit outdated in the bathroom. Plenty of space throughout. It would have been nice to have more climate control as it felt rather hot and humid in the room.
