"What an amazing hotel ! It's split into two halves, with the dining (and much more - chapel, art gallery, lovely rooms, including a games room!) in a separate building across the courtyard. If it's raining, there is a tunnel connecting the two! The breakfast was very good - the evening meal (we had half-board) was reasonably good, not outstanding. "Absolutely lovely setting! The room was a nice size and had a lovely outdoor sitting area overlooking the river. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant was attractive. There were however, some things that could be improved. First, the walk to our room was somewhat strenuous with luggage in tow. This would not have been so bad if the staff member walking us to our room slowed down a bit when we started huffing and puffing to keep up. Next, there are not coffee makers in the rooms, just...

"This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. The ( included) breakfasts are served at 9am, but the staff are very helpful and did provide breakfast earlier when we asked.
