"We've stayed at this hotel a number of times and enjoy it for the price, location, comfort and amenities, and because they are super pet friendly. Their restaurant has excellent food and the evening bartender was a wiz with cocktails. If you're travelling with a dog, there's really no better spot. The hotel is right across the street from the riverwalk park, making for an easy walk with your furry friend. "

"Really nice hotel with excellent room in a convenient location. The room and hallway were very warm, 78 degrees, and when I turned on the air conditioning it shot up to 80. We turned it off and slept with the window open which cooled us off but was noisy. We were told individual hvac units are being installed which would make it a delightful hotel. "

"Decent place, good location, reasonable price… EXCEPT PARKING! Come on, people, when the price of parking is literally almost 50% of the room price, you are REALLY price-gouging the parking. There are SEVERAL nearby parking lots with prices 50% lower (even if you come and go and have to break up the stay into multiple fees), so unless you’ve got money burning a hole in your pocket and value convenience over all else, skip the parking! "The Heathman is beautiful and the staff are great. We had a few problems, though. We went to our room after being out and the door card didn’t work. We asked for help and they forgot about us. We had to call a second time. It turns out the battery had died. It took quite some time to get us in the room and we almost missed the performance we had paid for, next door. Then, when we left, it was apparent that one of the valet staff had changed the radio station and got the floor quite dirty. The...

"The area was perfect! Powell’s books/Shake Shack/Coffee shops were all within 5 minutes walking distance. really good sushi place next to the hotel. There is homeless closer to china town & at night we saw a couple but i feel like that’s every downtown area. The parking was $32 a night but it’s in a closed garage which made me feel safe. The actual room seemed old/outdated but the location was perfect & for the price it was good. "
