"Old hotel, could be really charming with much work. Liked the golf theme. The place is really understaffed, but that’s probably because it’s a ghost town. The heat did not work at all in the room so we had to get a space heater, which kept it just above teeth-chattering. The breakfast was not good. Couldn’t wait to go the road the next morning."

Booked a lovely meal for £19.99 per person on our first night. the only downside i wish we had requested a room with a river view, our room looked straight onto a building site, all in all a great weekend away."

Beautiful sunny outlook at breakfast, we enjoyed the nice variety of hot and cold buffet breakfast, and poached eggs to order. Would stay again. "
