On site parking, having a sea view. The bar staff were excellent and friendly. The bed was extra comfy. But found the £10 per person for breakfast did not reflect the quality.

Stayed 1 night. In Eastbourne for the tennis. The hotel is in a great location, and the staff were very friendly. The building and rooms were of poor quality. Tired and dated. Mould in bathroom, marked paintwork. Carpets stained. Buffet breakfast was basic and poor quality. The sink didn’t drain properly. The bed was small - a standard double, but was reasonably comfortable. This is a lovely prominent building in desperate need of an upgrade.

This is a very average old hotel but no more and no less than you would expect for such a cheap stay. It has definitely seen better days but it is clean and the desk staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Sadly the same cannot be said for some of the breakfast staff. The breakfast is poor/average with no vegetarian options. Parking is £6 for 24hours and is conveniently behind the hotel, with direct access via a back door. Location wise, if you want sea front, you couldn’t get any closer and it is opposite the pier.

We were really lucky as the hotel wasnt very busy during our visit, so we were upgraded to a suite bedroom, which was really big and had wonderful views of the sea front and pier. It was so peaceful in our room. We paid extra for breakfast and we're so glad we did. There was a huge amount of choice and everything was lovely and hot and tasted amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and helpful. We paid £6 to park in the carpark behind the hotel and it was great - we could park from 3pm the day we arrived until 3pm the following day (even though checkout of the room was 10am). Everything was great.

Staff were trying their best to help, but unfortunately let down by cleaning and bedding being dirty, duvet and pillows were too stained to feel comfortable even with clean sheets. Walls are thin and I was woken up by next doors snoring.
