"The hotel was a lovely place to stay. There were some issues with cleanliness in our room, hair in the bathroom, old food packaging under the bed. All issues that are easily resolved. We would stay at the hotel again. The staff were lovely and would do anything to assist you. There is a train station not far that takes you straight into the City centre and takes around 7 minutes. "This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Edinburgh. The tram station is right outside and only 20 mins ins. We drove and parking was straight forward albeit chargeable at £8 per day. The pool was a real added bonus for our kids after a long day of tourism. Only slight issue for me is our kids are getting older and Novotels concept of a "family" room is starting to look less desirable than the Premier Inns as the sofa bed is tight.
