I did think it was a little pricy for what we got but at least the paring was free. The area around is lovely but there's not a lot of restaurants and the ones there close early (20:30). This is a 7/10 for me."

"Very interesting and memorable property in central Baarle. The rooms are right above a restaurant/bar, but there were not any noise issues. There were wavy hallways and floors and the building was in somewhat poor condition. Despite that, we found it to be a fun and memorable stay. The room was a nice size and the staff were great. Reasonably priced."

"The line for a drink at the bar was 20 people deep, so no wine for me last night. The bedroom was to hot, turned the A/C on and it was to loud so could not sleep. I could hear people walking around upstairs. Whilst the hotel can not be blamed for the rain hitting the windows, they could have the trees cut back to atop the branches hitting the windows in the wind. "

"Nice room with a door to a roof top balcony. Two twin beds to make a king. Parking in front of the hotel but you have to pay. Didn’t mind since it was so convenient. Walking distance to everything anyway. Room cleaned everyday. Had an awesome trip."

"The place is in a wonderful location and very beautiful old hotel. Maybe don’t go on the days of carnival if you want to sleep. We were not offered any VIP service as Expedia said. Darci hotel manager was very friendly. We were supposed to be given free one drink every night but only got it once. I believe the young woman on front desk was in training and a lot got missed in the process. However, it is a very nice place to stay. I would recommend eating in a small cafe for breakfast as there are...
