"A very pleasant stay in a very convenient location of Evian. I stayed for a long weekend, and although the room was very nice, and I got a balcony, there was a bit of a stale smell in the bathroom, and although opening a window helped, it was not very handy being it was a bit cold. However the room was very nice, very comfortable and very clean. "

"We had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms are impeccable, the spa, the pool and the general atmosphere is very relaxing and very welcoming! We liked the service, especially at the bar and the buffet style restaurant La Veranda.The only slight disappointment was the fact that we were not able in 5 days of our stay to book a dinner reservation at Les Fresques. "When we arrived to check in we were rushed. The guy managing the place told us he had left the key to our room in the door. When we made it to our room it looked nothing like the pictures, more like a cheap cabin on a lake. It was also freezing in the room. It was like 30 degrees Fahrenheit and no heat had been turned on. "The hotel was very central and convenient- just right across the street as we got off the ferry from Lausanne. The room had beautiful views of the lake, and a nice big king size bed- without a split mattress, which can be hard to find in Europe. The room was very clean and comfortable- and the hotel was reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Evian."
