"This property is next level amazing. The food is wonderful, the picnics, various restaurants, to say nothing of the wine. We stayed in a retreat cottage which is amazing and well appointed. The staff are great. I was with my wife and four year old daughter and we loved it all. My daughter did horse tours and we just had a truly perfect experience here staying for a week. It’s magical. "The property is simply stunning. It’s so charming and the staff are wonderful. It’s a 20 min walk from the Main Street in Franschoek or a few pounds in an Uber. Don’t use the recommended car service from the hotel as it was 3 x more expensive than an Uber. Out toom eas lovely with a small kitchen are and separate dressing room and bathroom with both a huge bath and a separate shower. The buffet breakfast was lovely and the views even better! "

"Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour."
