"Perfect. Not only did the staff wait for us as we were a late check in, but the room above and beyond what we were expecting. Everything was beautifully cleaned and well maintained, and the water pressure in the shower was especially perfect. In the morning, breakfast turned out to be the most amazing breakfast I’ve ever had! And I’m a foodie lol! The cooks deserved a standing ovation!! "The staff and service are wonderful. We have seen wildlife around the property including a coati, armadillo and a monkey! The location is up a hill/mountain so we tend to drive rather than walk into town. Breakfast here and all our meals in town at recommended spots have been great! The room is very clean but dated and the bathroom could use an upgrade. Otherwise, I’d give it 5 stars!"

"Fabulous staff, very kind and helpful. The breakfasts were great and we had a wonderful dinner at the on-site restaurant. It's a 10 - 15 minute walk into the Monteverde Cloud Forest. It wasn't a problem for us, but there are some steep ramps getting to some of the rooms and from the road to the parking lot. If you have mobility issues, be sure to check with the staff about options."
