The team called me earlier in the day to check I was on track to arrive in the evening. I confirmed I was - I had prepaid almost £200. When I arrived, there was a long queue at the check in, only to be told when I got to the front they were overbooked and my booking had been transferred to the Hilton. Overbooking with prepayment is not acceptable nor is calling me early but not letting me know what the problem was. The Hilton was decent and the staff were great but I would not recommend the village based on this experience.

Staff could be a little more attentive to customers. Pool and gym are always crowded as it’s not exclusive fly for the use of hotel guests but open to genera public. Other than the science museum there is not much to do around that area. Overall the experience was OK

The Village is a nice place in a great location. The rooms for a family of 4 with 2 double beds is small and there is no mini fridge but there is a Starbucks and the pub food is really good. The pool is great too but be advised they will make you go in with your kids bc it’s 4ft deep everywhere. Would stay again
