This motel is a one star at best. It is currently being renovated and is in a terrible state. We had even considered forfeiting our payment and going elsewhere. The only good thing was the continental breakfast which was better than expected. Until all the repairs/modernisation are completed, stay well away

This motel was absolutely perfect! Very nice town and quant little motel. Newly renovated rooms and continuing updates. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful! Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, muffins, juice, coffee, etc. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

This property was really close to the town and its amenities. Unfortunately at the time of our visit there were roadworks which did make access a little difficult. Reception were extremely efficient and pleasant. The breakfast was more than acceptable and was replenished regularly. We were asked whether we wanted an upstairs or downstairs room and chose down. which was easier for access to the car park but our upstairs neighbours were a little noisy. Very nice park not far away

We booked this property fairly last minute due to a family emergency nearby and had to fly in with little time to prepare. The lodge was very decently priced. Overall there was nothing extremely disappointing, but it just very much is an older outdated and very bare minimum property. There's a lot of construction right now so it was loud and a little hectic to get in and out, but that's not really the Lodge's fault. Relatively nice room with a large spacious bed. The sheets were already stained but they were flipped inside out, just more proof of how outdated the lodge was. Outside of the lodge on the walkway to the upstairs rooms looked very unfinished and not very safe with floorboards that moved and made a lot of noise. The one thing that was a little concerning was that the rooms did not have any security locking mechanisms other than a deadbolt and the regular lock. As a female traveler who traveled with my wife, it would have been a lot more reassuring to have some sort of lock system that made us feel safer. Also considering the door keys were actual handheld keys so the door knobs and doors overall didn't feel very safe. Especially for an old style Lodge. With all of the doors being outside and visible from the street and all the surrounding areas. Would I stay there again? Probably not if it wasn't a last resort. But for the last minute necessity, it wasn't bad. Just very outdated and bare minimum.

The property has been recently upgraded and was super clean. The management was amazing. Very accommodating to the point of making us coffee and bringing it to our room when we were searching for it. Clean, friendly and felt like home. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

The streets around the property were under construction, so it was a little hard to find. The motel itself was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. A good, safe stay.

Old school motel that has been nicely renovated. They still have actual keys instead of card keys, which I haven't seen for a long time and is a nice change of pace. The doors had deadbolts so no big deal there. Very clean with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly. There was a lot of construction going on that made accessing the hotel difficult but that isn't their fault.

There is construction on the main road that makes it difficult to find the hotel. The interior of the room was great and the bed comfortable, but the exterior of the hotel really needs updating as I was kind of concerned to enter. Even so, the person at the desk was friendly and accommodating. If it wasn't for him, I would not have stayed. If they keep working on the property and the road work gets finished, this could be an affordable, pleasant place to stay.

Older motel that has been recently renovated and restored. Everything is clean and well kept. A real gem! The service is friendly and excellent. They even offer a real breakfast with extras to grab and go if you prefer. Could maybe use two additional pillows to go with the deep pocket pillow top mattress. Don’t expect high end electronic locks or elevators but everything was exactly what was needed for a good stay including easy access power outlets and a good TV with lots of channels. Highly recommended to fellow responsible travelers who will help the owners keep it clean and nice.
