"The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning."

"We arrived at the resort just after 5pm and was handed our keys with a map of where our unit was and a map of the various sites in the area. We noticed the shop was well stocked. When we got to our cabana, the unit was very clean, with a chocolate for each of us, some rusks and tea/coffee packs. The resort is very tranquil. It is close to every site in the lowveld. "

"It is close to Kruger park but they need to look at trimming the plats i understand the privacy issue but they are so tall it is claustrophobic."

"Overall good and safe experience. It felt like having your own house in nature next to the Kruger National Park. That house was for me alone with plenty of space and total beds for up to 4 persons. It was all clean and tidy. The only downside is that it wasn't climatic controlled the only cooling devices are fans which can be cold during night. Don't expect a 5 Star hotel but you get the local experience."

"This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! "

"Very comfortable room, food, especially oxtail, very good and great dom pedros. Service very good and attentive/friendly staff. Not much to do/see in the hotel (gym under construction). Views are lovely and sitting by the pool very relaxing. Very nice bathrooms with bath. The corridors on the ground floor very cold and austere but the room does open out onto the balcony.
