"My wife & I escaped the rat race to spend 4 nights at Palm Bay Resort, Long Island to celebrate our upcoming 50th birthdays. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the staff. "We stayed in the bungalows. They were no frills but met our needs. We had a maintenance issue that took a couple of days to resolve but they did fix it. The staff was nice, a little frantic at times but fun. Definitely rent a cart (buggy) and make restaurant reservations in advance or there wont be any when you get there. The Wallaby's grazed just feet from our front porch. Once in a lifetime!!! "

"Our stay here was incredible. Romantic and relaxing. This place offers a little slice of paradise to unwind in. The location is secluded and spectacular. (Note you do need to book a transfer from Hamilton Island Airport, either two boats or via a 5 min helicopter flight - which is a lovely way to see the islands!) The staff are all fantastic, a big thank you to Alice and the entire team. They are caring, attentive (no request was too hard) whilst ensuring you also have your space. "

"Beautiful property , nice rooms, access to beach and pool. Breakfast was great each morning and location was prime. They had a free shuttle to anywhere on the island which helped when our legs were tired after a long day snorkeling. Wallabies were walking right around the property which made for a magical Aussie trip. Definitely would book here again!"

We stayed here for 5 nights - the apartment had everything you could have needed from kitchen facilities to outdoor balcony with tables and chairs to enjoy the view. "Oasis 11 is on the Marina side and you can walk to the Marina to all the eateries. The apartment is spacious and has a lovely view but does need updating as the decor is tired and some of the cupboards/chairs were loose or broken. It comes with a buggy which is handy and kids U12 eat free at some restaurants. Overall, it felt more like a home and was comfortable. Another relaxing and enjoyable stay at Hamilton Island."
