" I stayed for 3 nights. As this was my last day in Vietnam. Location was good. Only 5-10 minutes walking distance from few attractions of city centre. Staff were very nice, polite and helpful. Breakfast was awesome 👍"

"Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel 2 is a small older hotel. It rained the entire week we stayed there and our room felt damp. There was always condensation on the windows as well as the walls and floor in the bathroom. There was no fan in the bathroom which added to the problem. Rooms are not soundproof and the noise from the busy Hanoi traffic was constant. On the positive side, the staff were all excellent. The place was clean and well cared for. The breakfast was good and the service was great....

"The room was dated, old and dirty, old NASTY air contioner,chairs were old musty and tv was old only had scrabbled vietnamese channels......what tipped it over the top is when i found a pubic hair on my pillow, when i went downstairs to see if i could get another room,the guy didnt seem to make a big deal about it, i went downstairs next morning and told girl i was checking out, i showedher pictures a d she shugged her shoulders, i left for a better hotel. I hope i can get a refund for the 4...

"Avoid this hotel. The pictures on the website DO NOT represent what the condition of the hotel is currently. It is very run down and the only reason we stayed a second night was because I was sick all day the 1st day. The bathroom water pressure is none existent, we weren’t given a wifi password, no toilet paper, you need to turn on a switch for hot water which we also weren’t told about. This is a terrible rundown place and not worth the price they charge. We went to a different hotel in Hanoi...

"Got there early about 6 AM very friendly help me with things to do. Asked me if I wanted an early check in which I did for a very reasonable fee. I had my laundry done as well. Price is right place was clean. Elevator would stay here again."
