"L'Alcazar was opulent with Moroccan decor. The Moroccan staff was kind and professional. Kindness was top priority. The rooms are large. There is an amazing roof top terrace with a pool. You can walk out the front door into the Medina for shopping and traditional food. I highly recommend hiring a Rickshaw to tour Rabat's King's Palace and Chellah. Be sure to enjoy the mint tea. I highly recommend L'Alcazar and give it an A . Enjoy!"

"This Riad is a beautiful traditional Moroccan home with guest rooms located off open air courtyards that are weatherproof but airy. The extended family who run the business is lovely and although their English is somewhat limited, they always figured out what I was asking and made every effort to assist. "Riads are tough to review. Parking is always horrendous - don’t believe them when they say “offsite parking available.” This is a cop out - you will be finding street parking and making a deal with a total stranger who could care less about the Riad. And they will try to scam you for a higher rate. This is well decorated and the staff is excellent. But the rooms are weirdly laid out. See some pictures. This includes floor level windows that open to the center courtyard etc. and uneven floors....

"We arrived to the property at 2:30, with a 3:00 check-in. Our room was not ready, which we expected, so we went out for half an hour. When we return a little after 3pm they said our room would not be ready for another 40 minutes or more. We were tired and really wanted to freshen up. The staff were unapologetic (an apology and making the customer feel like they are the priority goes a long way) and made us almost feel like we were imposing expecting the room to be ready on time.
