If you like or tolerate Indian grit, noise pollution and chaos, then this is the place. If you seek serenity and the calm of the Himalayas and the Ganges River, spend more money and look elsewhere. "Staying at narayana was just perfect. It’s walking distance to Laxman Jhula and the hustle and bustle of Tapovan market. But when you return to the property its a peaceful quiet oasis. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful we enjoyed live music and a bonfire. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Nothing to complain about. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again. Best resort in Rishikesh"

"The property needs updating as we had been in Jan 2024 it remains the same- on the last day the toilet kept blocking plus the smell in the room was not very nice. We had a partial river view room which was really lovely. So there are positives and negatives despite this l really like the hotel. I especially like the resident pundit who does amazing pooja in the morning and evening which is beautiful. The staff are very nice 😊"

"The hotel is at a good location and the new building is great besides the restaurant too is wonderful with great food and wonderful live music. The worry is if you get a regular room you will get a stale room with bed sheets and walls very stale. Pls only consider new building not the heritage (old wing) "
