The hotel exterior and interior were clean. No complaints about my room...it was nice and clean. However, it was a little noisy and I felt I was not in the best part of Hartford. It is a little noisy and a tad of "what's that smell"

The property needs a refresh. Room smelled funky and there was a layer of dust on surfaces. Bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way and no fan in the bathroom. After two days they made the beds and added towels but nothing else done. Not sure what their standard was for restocking but didn’t have shampoo or conditioner after the first day. Front desk entertaining and friendly. Included breakfast was decent and enough to get you on your way. Area was quiet and good access to highway.

The room smelled musty like wet dirty carpet and we could barely breathe when we walked in. The carpet under the air conditioning unit was soaked halfway across the room. They didn’t have another room for us, but sent maintenance to suck it up with a loud vacuum while we got ready for the day. Then they left a dehumidifier blowing air on it (loudly) through rest of our stay. Hot tub was closed and outdoor pool not available. Woke up by smoke detector battery beeping on last morning. Staff could not give discount or address because we booked through Expedia.

No shower curtain. Worn out carpet in the room. Dirty office chair. No shampoo and no conditioner in the bathroom. One piece of soap for two. Stained blanket. Shower curtain was brought on the next day. Had to pick up soap and shampoo at the reception.

Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. However, at the pool, it was posted that there cannot be drinks, food, and smoking. When my family went to swim on Sunday evening, there was a large crowd of people at the pool and they were playing loud music, smoking, drinking, and eating.

Dingy, outdated and dirty. We were kept up most of the night by people next door screaming and fighting. Could hear everything they were yelling. Property is unkept. There was a gob of ice cream on the floor in front of the front desk the night we checked in and was still there the next morning when we checked out. Not impressed
