"Lovely real ale country pub with rooms. Very rustic but with all home comforts and little extras. Great view over countryside with cows grazing nearby. Breakfast freshly cooked and generous portions. Used as overnight stay following wedding at Crowcombe court (5 mins walk) but also great for walkers etc exploring the Exmoor area. Highly recommend "

"Delightful inn with lovely views across the river and surrounding countryside. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room, although compact, had everything we needed with ample storage for a few days clothing, a comfortable bed and tea & coffee facilities. The ensuite had a good, but not spacious, shower, however, the window was clear glass without a blind and it did feel like you were a little exposed when using the bathroom. "We were greeted warmly on our arrival. Everything was explained in a friendly but professional manner. We were taken up to our room which all wasn't huge was comfortable with a tea tray and kettle. The bathroom was gorgeous. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well organised and nothing was too much trouble for Colette and the team . The property is away from Butlins with a lovely walk either way out the property. It's very quite here. "

"This was a lovely place but there was no interaction with owners and to have a hamper left outside your room with no communication was a bit odd. We had to communicate via text message which was not very friendly. Perhaps this is the way forward!! "

"The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here"
