Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. "For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. The cleanliness was ok but I again suspect that it was a rush job to prepare for our stay. The apartment location is central and a short walk to the train...

"I gave this place the benefit of the doubt after reading the previous 1 star review that they cancel on your reservation moments before you want to check in. This was the exact same situation as the previous reviewer - due to damage to the property there were unable to accommodate. Leaves you stranded to book something else last min. "Great hotel very accessible for our needs. The outside really lets the inside down as it’s amazing on the inside but looks very dated on the outside not wholly helped by the conference centre which looks in need of some TLC. "

"I've only marked the surrounding area down because there's nothing really around there, but that's not a bad thing. In some ways it's good. The hotel is on an industrial estate surrounded by a lot of car dealerships. What that does mean is there's no passing traffic, it's very quiet because of this. Take nothing away from the hotel. All the staff we met were all very polite and helpful. The checking in process was very easy and the room very easy to find. The room was great. Spacious with a lsrge bathroom with bath and shower. The supplied shower gel and hair shampoo were extremely nice too. Tea and coffee facilities were also great as well as a large tv with sky sports included. Plenty of hangers for your clothes and drawers. The only negative is no USB charging points. But we had brought plugs anyway. Breakfast was lovely. Hot food was a selection. Bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, beans, mushrooms, sliced and cooked potatoes and halved tomatoes cooked. Limitless! Toast croissants, pan au chocolate, cereals, fruit, yoghurt. There really was a great selection. We had dinner one night with a great selection of good food, all served piping hot and tasty. The wings with buffalo sauce were especially nice. All in all a very nice place to stay, we will return again if needs be."
