"Location - was pretty good, there is a restaurant inside the resort and a few restaurants and bar within five minutes walk. Supermarket 10 minute walk. Beach few minutes Walk. hiking Trail just behind the resort. The villa - we booked had two rooms each with its own bathroom which was very convenient. Small kitchen with sufficient utensil for cooking. small living area and a resting balcony to chill. Hotels swimming pool - There were a 1 meter deep swimming pool, a 1.5 meter deep swimming pool and a kiddy pool. You can arrange to book cars directly at reception. There is No Room service. overall good hotel considering price, location, amenities, we would come here again. Small thing - would be good if they provided coffee and tea.( only 4 coffee capsules were provided although we stayed for 8 nights, when asked at reception they said we would have to buy, which wasn’t expensive but would be nice touch to have as complimentary like other hotels) "

"We only stayed here one night due to a booking mixup in our other location. We were extremely amazed at what a lovely host Loeki was and beautiful the setting is. If you are looking for a quiet retreat for your vacation, this is the place. Loeki did everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. My only comment would be that if you’re using navigation do not just enter Plantation Jan Thiel , it only takes you halfway down the road. Enter Landhuis Jan Thiel, into your navigation. The location is at the very end of the road."

"We do a lot of traveling and this was by far our worst experience ever with a stay anywhere in the world. We reserved a first floor unit many months in advance because we are in our 60s and have mobility issues and do not want to climb stairs. However when we showed up we were told that the only unit available was a second floor unit with a long flight of stairs to get to it. We asked about our first floor unit and we were told it was not available even though the property did not look crowded. Our second huge issue was the fact that this property was described as air conditioned but it turns out that only applied to the bedroom and it only applied at night. It was like an oven in there and we were told not to run the air conditioning until night, just to open the window even though it was hot and humid and there was no breeze. in addition the furniture around the pool was broken and just in general the property looked rundown. We tried working with the property management and they were not at all interested in addressing these issues and also expedia did not stand behind us in terms of wanting a refund for this misrepresented property. We were forced to find another accommodation at additional expense. We will think twice before using expedia to book a stay in the future."
