"The property was in a good location for us as it was on the edge of the French Quarter and away from a lot of the action. It was next to a stop for the red streetcar which was very handy when it was working. Employees were very nice and accommodating. Property had garage parking which was great. The room was a nice size for an extended stay."

"Incredibly beautiful historic hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has gated entry which feels secure and private. Any time we left or returned to the hotel we would receive a wave from whatever staff member was closest to the gate. The location is perfect for walking, very conveniently located to Jackson Square, Cafe du Monde, Royal Street, a tram station, and far enough from Bourbon Street that it is quieter but still easily accessible to party. "Location was excellent and very easily walkable to the busy areas, yet quiet and relaxed at the hotel. Parking worked out for us, but do not count on having it available - very few spots. Rooms are not accessible for anyone that cannot do steps (our room in a back corner of second floor required steps even with elevator use). Room was large and plenty comfy. The bathroom was very good, with a very deep tub. Loved the hotel overall!"

"The location and customer service is excellent and the place was clean. Some downsides though were inability to alter temperature in the room and super small refrigerator with no stocked water or even availability for water on the premises. Also the advertised studio was really just an armchair in the corner where the photos on line alluded to a couch."

"We had to add on a night stay while at a conference and booked at the last minute, had an excellent experience, very friendly and accommodating staff, location is great, near Frenchman Street and the Quarter but not in the midst of the noise. Beautiful old style decor, but kept up very well."
