"The Heritance is like no other hotel you would have stayed at before. They are so seemlessly integrated with the jungle around them that you'll be able to experience the surrounding nature whilst staying at the hotel. The staff are all so accommodating and you can book cool dsy trip excursions at reasonable prices. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner were unbelieveably good. The lady that makes fresh hoppers is thr best!"

"We loved our 3 night stay here .The hotel was everything we could have asked for - wonderful ,friendly staff(shout out to Champika and Dilshan and everyone else ),lovely accomodation and the food was exceptional.We came here straight from Colombo airport with our excellent driver ,Dushan Theekshana and while here we climbed Sigiryia Rock ,visited Dambulla caves ,enjoyed a wonderful local cultural show in Habarana and will take in Polonnaruwa on our way to Uga Bay .We could have done a safari but we are doing one later in our trip . So glad we came to Sri Lanka and equally glad we picked this hotel ."

The staff, especially at the restaurant (we had a bbq dinner buffet and breakfast buffet the next morning) were amazing. So friendly, courteous and helpful. "Very expensive stay for not much facilities. Staff barely able to understand requests. No timely answers for queries before we arrived at the property. Staff do not go out of the way to make your experience pleasant at all. Breakfast was below average. For the expensive pricing, you would expect a better spread, but no. Cleanliness of property is also below average when you compare with similar properties in the price range."
