"We passed through Buffalo just to stay in this hotel and we were not disappointed. It’s was very interesting experience like spending a night in the museum. Both rooms we booked were spacious, clean with comfortable beds. Coffee was provided in the morning in a coffee room. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel, loaded with antiques, at least spend a night. "

"On our week long trip from Florida to Canada, this was one of the best hotels we stay at! Great room, great breakfast and a really nice public sitting area. At 3 AM, the people in the room next to ours were talking loud so I asked the front desk to ask them to quiet down, which they did immediately. No further noise. "

They were remodeling, we got a sneak peak and yall want to book a stay and enjoy all the updates!!!!Breakfast was amazing, hot food was hot and fresh, cold foods were cold and freh fruit was really good and they had fresh strawberries and plenty to choose from on breads and pastries. Coffee was great as was the tea choice and juices... "

"The staff was very helpful and our room was clean. Beds were super comfortable. The only issue we had was a loud noise like something banging into the outside wall of our room when the wind was blowing. It may have been some type of vent on the wall outside of the building. Other than that it was a very nice stay. "

"Had a great stay. Did not realize the haunted history of the Alex Johnson before booking. To my surprise, the place was on Ghost Hunters. I watched the episode while staying in the hotel. Hotel is all pet friendly, which is what I needed, and it was great! 2 bars/restaurants, including a rooftop lounge, both with dog friendly options. Parking is a challenge. They do have a valet, but since I had just got into town I wasn't sure if I would need my vehicle again, so I found parking on the street. Will definitely stay here again though!"
