Amenities not available due to construction, lack of accessible entrances and options, temperature was awful - AC and room thermostat did not work, no screens on windows. Completed areas were nice, the hotel will likely be great once construction is complete as the staff team were able excellent, but guests during construction should receive substantial discounts due to the major inconvenience - lots of noise, chemical smells, issues and non compliance with accessibility needs

We were informed by email a couple of days before that there was construction at the hotel. Not enough to cancel and rebook somewhere else. Lobby is scabbed drywall. Check in clerk was not helpful at all. View was spoiled by construction equipment and workers. Had to keep curtains closed because workers could easily look into our room. Work started at 8:00 with concrete drills. Rediculous

This was actually a lovely hotel, but it was hard to tell just how good it might be, since the hotel was under renovation. Our rooms were already renovated and they were gorgeous, but other amenities such as the gym and restaurant were unavailable. I found the hotel to be overpriced, considering the general inconvenience of the renovation project.

Hotel was under renovations while we were there. Still expensive for one night as I would have thought there would be a discount seeing the place is under construction. Hotel room and floor was fine, all clean and comfortable. Hotel is right downtown so everything is within walking distance, so it’s very convenient.

The property is undergoing renovations currently (August 2024), but my room was very nice and comfortable, and employees were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent with lots of restaurants and the waterfront nearby.

Renos/on-going updates was not inconvenient in the slightest. Hotel staff very professional and pleasant. My room was great! Everything brand-new and super comfy. The location is so convenient. Both to the 401 (not even 5 km away) and pedestrian friendly to amazing dining, sightseeing and shopping. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness from the elevator ride to the 9th floor and the condition of our room. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The only complaint was that the fan was non-functional in the bathroom and the air conditioning unit in the room was very loud. We were also disappointed that we did not mention upon booking that we are seniors and could have gotten a better rate if we had called the hotel directly...next time we shall definitely do so!
