"I didn’t realise it was right beside the racecourse at Ayre. It was a superb venue easy walk into the town plenty of parking and I’m not one for usually promoting weather spoons West Kirk pub in Ayre had been a church and just for a look well worth a visit. "

"I booked in for 3 nights and arrived very late on 1st night. Room was clean and warm. My requests were dealt with swiftly. Staff were very attentive to myself and other guests. Room was a bit dated but i didnt mind as it added to the character of my stay. Will be back again "

"I’ve got to say the staff were second to none. I had an appointment at 1pm and due to a missed train connection got to the hotel at 12.50. They went out of their way to make sure I was there on time. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and the night porter was great. He had a very exuberant crowd in until 4am and managed them really well. If I have to find something to improve on, it would be the shower in my room. Not very powerful and not particularly warm. But that was minor and made up for by the fact I had a great view of Ailsa Craig. "

"Great stay, we were visiting family in Ayr and needed a dog friendly place to stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean with no skimping on the teas/coffees/milks! Breakfast was lovely, continental buffet followed by a la carte cooked, also a sausage in a bowl nicely chopped for our dog. Would definitely stay again."
