Better than any "typical" hotel we've been in in a long while. Beautifull location up in the village 2 min walk from the center with plenty of figs trees, vines and flowers. "Staff here are almost as lovely as the views. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, AC worked (except when you had to leave the room with the key) but the bathroom is weird with the showers allowing water to flood the floor (this is normal in Greece I think). Taxi's charge a lot to get to and from here- so book a rental! Overall- very happy with my stay and look forward to going back!"

"Wouldn't call this exactly a hotel, it's more like some family owned bunch of rooms in a big house. But they are well maintained and convenient enough, although quite simple. The location is nice, meters from the sea and a lot of restaurants on the promenade, the beach however is about 10 minute walk away. Nice, quiet place, good base for exploring the western part of Crete. Very friendly staff, well prepared with information and hand-enhanced printed maps for the region."
