"This property has no staff onsite. So you have no ability to leave luggage before check in or after checkout, so you have to use the lockers at the train station. Email on entry was confusing and required a call. I observed similar struggles with other guests. Checkin is all via keypad. Room was a nice size, had a kitchen, and sitting area (cushions were stained). Location to the train station was nice, but it is not bar any hot springs or other attractions. "

"Great location if you’re visiting Hyotan Onsen etc. En-suite showers are a little small, and the hot water isn’t very hot (which is strange for a hotel with a hot spring). "pros : cheap and clean cons : • this was by far my worst experience in Japan during my one month stay. When I booked (one day before my planned check-in), the manager demanded to know at what time I was planning to check in. I was surprised but happily obliged and gave him/her the precise time (4 pm). The check-in happens in another place (15 min away by foot) which is a guesthouse. I went there by 4 pm and found no one (even though it is mentioned everywhere that check-in time is between 4 pm...

"The hotel is unfortunately a bit tired looking, but still quite clean and pretty comfortable. There's also an onsen which is nice to use. The area is quite convenient, definitely walkable from the train station even with luggage. The staff are nice and friendly. I don't think I would have a problem using this place in the future."

"Room was amazing with the view of the ocean. Staff is especially great with detailed walkthrough of the property and facilities and speaks great english. I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I hope the western breakfast combinations would be better in the future. The western options are kinda awkward and doesn't pair well (eg. eggs benedict with sausage/nuggets and no hashes). However, the Japanese variant is great "
