"The upside of this hotel is that it is iconic. The location, the view, the walkability to all the tourist highlights in Ottawa made this a brilliant place to stay. I also very much enjoyed the food offering and the pool. Staff were really friendly and happy to help with anything required. Two downsides: 1) The parking. I had read reviews about the valet parking and expense but decided to take this on the chin to stay somewhere so iconic. Everyone was right - parking was annoying and expensive....

"It was a very nice place. Lots of space. Fully equipped kitchen. Communication about how to park and enter the building was very clear. I wish there were more lights in the bedroom but otherwise no complaints. I'd recommend the property for sure. "
