"Friendly staff, spacious room, and close proximity to my business conference. However, my bathroom smelled like mildew and the shower wand didn’t work. The hotel is a bit on the older side than I’m used to, but in a small town like Gilford, it matches the aesthetic. I’ve heard other options aren’t as great, so I will likely end up staying again next year. The staff are very attentive to your needs, though, and I had no other issues with my stay. "This historic property has been lovingly refurbished into a modern day inn. There are clean,shared bathrooms. The outside porch and sitting areas overlook the lake with fabulous views. The owner was friendly and made home made muffins for breakfast. My only complaint is the noise from the motocyclists during the evening."

"Before the pandemic, we stayed here a few times and enjoyed it. We decided to try again this week. What a pleasant surprise to stay in a totally updated 2 bedroom unit. Wow! Super impressed with the Summit. Super quiet at night, beautifully taken care of resort and close to so many fun things. 5 stars!!!"
