"This was the best resort we've ever stayed in. We were blown away by how spacious the 2 bed apartment was. We are 2 adults and 3 children. My teenage son slept on the sofa bed. This itself was quite big. It looked bigger than the double and was very comfortable. There was a spare wardobe/cupboard in the lounge for his bedding. The bedding in all rooms were luxurious and of high standard. Plenty of towels for all of us in both bathrooms. I loved that they were provided with bath mats. This is something ive always had to bring along with me. The kitchen has everything you could need a dishwasher and washing machine! We managed to have family over and cooked a meal for 7. Plenty of space at the table with a spare stool. Each room had cupboards and plenty of drawers for everyone. Curtains were lined and black out. Heating came on auto, so swimming towels and costumes dried easy. There was a henry hoover, ironing board/iron and hairdryer. We brought our own percolator but there was a coffee machine. Unfortunately for some reason our chromecast would not connect to the TV. But we didnt mind. The grounds are beautiful, picturesque and peaceful. Everyone is so friendly. Welcoming and attentive. We were a stones throw from a small park, so some evenings we could sit outside on our patio furniture and watch our children play. Ducks came to visit and that was the highlight of my 4 year olds holiday. The apartment was large with plenty of room for my kids to run around. Pool was warm"

"Stayed overnight on a dinner bed and breakfast rate. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was nice but the bathroom was in need of an upgrade, that being said it was very clean. Inner was fantastic all meals are homemade to a very high standard not a frozen item to be seen. Breakfast again was a good. Very central to the centre of Lancaster. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"We chose the fleece for its location, near Heysham port for our onward journey, but it is going to be a place we return to on other occasions. It was a great stay. The room ws spacious with a large comfortable bed. The breakfast was good. The food during the evening meal was delicious using local produce like Garstang blue cheese, locally smoked fish etc. It has local community evenings too. "

"The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room was great and the views are spectacular. Prices for eating are very reasonable. Easy to go for long walks on the promenade or the beaches. Close to other amenities, shops, etc. Surrounded by lovely countryside to go exploring."

"The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The staff at breakfast time, were especially helpful as I have mobility issues. The breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of choice. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the centre of Lancaster as well as on the lovely river side walk. We would definitely stay there again. "
