My wife and I were looking for a base to stay for 11 days in the Perigord / North Dordogne to allow us to explore the area and found this fantastic "petit chateau" on the outskirts of Thiviers. Feels very relaxing and is ideal for seeing the Dordogne area. Owners are lovely and very helpful with suggestions for where to visit. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. "The hotel was lovely we were given a newly refurbished room with a fantastic walk in shower. The owner and his wife could not have been more helpful. They were cheerful and chatty and very likeable. The hotel room was on a main road but was easily walkable into the city. "
