"We have been staying here for 15 years. It is outside of the main area of town, but we like that. Besides, there is a Buffalo Wild Wings and a Boulder Tap House right there. Plus, now there are many convenience store options such as Kwik Stop, Casey's, etc. This has always been a "bare-bones" place ..."

"We had a suite with a lake view. I loved sitting on the balcony enjoying Lake Superior. Having our own living area and kitchen was much appreciated. The place was quiet and peaceful. The hotel is placed right in Grand Marais within walking distance to shops and restaurants."
