"What a great hotel. Right in the square attached to the railway station. Walked out of the door and straight into the Christmas Market. Definitely a great place to stay and the breakfast staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble."

"The fire alarm went off, one fire exit was blocked off and we ended up lost and didn’t see any other people, eventually the alarm stopped so we went back to our room but we had no idea wether it was a drill or a real alarm, also our room smelt of cigarettes even though it said no smoking room"

"A very pleasant stay. The hotel is ideally situated in a central location. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that our room overlooked The Light, meaning we were disturbed by the light at night and we were woken at 8 o’clock to the sound of Christmas music "

"The location was not so good for us as there was a nightclub nearby that didn't have soundproofing as we could hear the music and singing until it finished which happened to be between 2am - 3am, especially as they would choose the last song to encourage their clientele to sing along. Even though we kept the window closed we were still kept awake with the sound. We chose the hotel for the convenience of the location in relation to the railway station and the bridge over to the Brewery Wharf...
