Nice small town, people seemed quite friendly. The Reform Inn, Throncliffe is a nice restaurant, very friendly and helpful stuff serving local produce, would advise booking ahead as it gets quite busy.

"The roo s are very comfy and quiet considering it is an airport. Our flight wasn't until the evening so we were able to leave our bags at the hotel and go into Manchester for the day, we even got upgraded to a superior room on arrival."
