4/5 - Good
Part zoo of coastal life as well as aquarium, it has a declared ethic about not capturing animals, but using already captive ones recovering from some trouble, and not keeping them all their lives. It is right over an old dock, hence sea, so they could + should put something underneath to give the sea animals contact with the actual sea - not saying they do. Dramatic sculptures in recycled materials on marine environment. The idea of the central aquarium that all the other ocean exhibits rotate around, keeps you reminded of the range of underwater life that the ocean facts refer to, but it fails a bit because they don't repeat a directory of all the fish at every viewing point, they only describe the ones relevant to which ocean you are on: so you can always see a lot of other fish frustratingly without reference to hand on what they are.
